Elon Musk lost $ 15.2 billion on Monday after Tesla shares fell, making him the world’s second-richest person.

Tesla, which suffered its biggest drop since September, had previously included $ 1.5 billion worth of Bitcoin on its balance sheet. The fall in stocks was due to Musk saying over the weekend that Bitcoin and Ethereum were above their value, analysts said.

Musk said on Twitter Monday that the company’s y-SUV had been shelved.

Musk ranked Jeff Bezos first on the Bloomberg Billionaire Index after a stock loan. The two billionaires have been in the top spot since January and are giving it back. By January, Jeff Bezos had been in the top spot for 3 years.

Bitcoin’s drop of more than 10 percent on Monday is also expected to affect the decline of Tesla shares.
